How We work

How We Work

Texas Based, Globally Engaged. The Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) has been sharing the expertise and knowledge of more than 40,000 faculty and administrators from Texas universities with the global community since 1985.

Together with TIEC’s Texas Intensive English Program, we offer pathways for students to study in Texas and become globally competent and career-ready for today’s workforce. We also offer a one-of-a-kind consultancy that delivers unique programs to help universities, governments, and businesses succeed on the global stage.

We have decades of experience helping institutions around the world grow their global reputation and partnerships. Our member universities include programs that are world-renowned for their academics and scholarships, have numerous specialized research centers and institutes, extension and technical training programs, and public policy and service units. Each of these resources delivers support and expertise through active participation in TIEC projects worldwide.

Have a project? We are here to help.

TIEC is committed to building deep and lasting relationships with its partners. Once we decide to work together, we create a tailor-made team of experts from the TIEC network to deliver high-quality proprietary services to meet our partners’ needs. We go further for the international colleagues we serve to build operational linkages with Texas universities that establish faculty-faculty collaboration and research, new university design, student mobility programs, virtual learning programs, access to each other’s markets, and much more.
