Housing Assistance: Summer Tuition, Room and Meal Packages
Benefits of the TRM Package include:
- One payment at TIEP registration that includes tuition and fees, housing, and meals.
- Accommodations arranged by TIEP prior to student's arrival.
- Lower housing cost than students can get on their own.
The TRM Package is offered in cooperation with University Towers, a deluxe dormitory, two blocks from TIEP.
Accommodations at University Towers include:
- Dormitory suite shared among four students with two bedrooms, one bath, living room, and kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stovetop and microwave oven. (Private rooms are available. Students will pay the difference for private rooms at check-in, subject to availability.)
- Nineteen meals per week in the dormitory's cafeteria.
- Linens provided. (Includes sheets, towels, light blanket, pillow, pillowcase, shower curtain). Bed sheets and towels are changed weekly.
- Weekly housekeeping service.
- All utilities paid including basic cable TV service (TV not provided), local telephone service and voice mail.
- Access to swimming pool, game room, exercise room and computer facilities, all located on site.
- Social activities.
- 24-hour security patrol and maintenance; a resident assistant on each floor.
- WiFi in common areas for laptops and a computer lab with Internet access. (Extra fee for in-room Internet).

To apply to the English program and to reserve a space in the TRM Package, send the TRM Preference Profile, TIEP Application Form, and a non-refundable, non-transferable fee of $230 (money order or cashier's check made payable to "TEXAS INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM"). This includes a one-time $95 TIEP application fee and a $135 TRM Package processing fee. Send these to:
