Local housing options include dormitories, apartments, cooperatives, and homestays. Descriptions and resources for each option are listed below:
Dormitories
Many dormitories are within walking distance of TIEP. Private or shared accommodations available. Meal plans available.

Apartments
Students prepare own meals. Apartment size varies greatly. Furnished or unfurnished available. Students may have to pay own utilities (electricity, water and gas). Many apartments are within walking distance of TIEP.

Cooperatives
Co-ops are non-profit, student managed housing. Residents perform household duties in return for reduced rent. Rent fee includes food and utility bills. Many are within walking distance of TIEP.

Homestays
Available on a limited basis to students who have been accepted to TIEP. Applications for Homestay must be received by TIEP at least one month prior to student's arrival date. Contact TIEP for more information.
